Filmmaker George Siougas about his film ”The One Note Man” | an exclusive interview by VoG collaborator Eliana Nunes | 14 Feb. 2024

George Siougas was born in Athens. Knowing that he would follow a film directing career from the age of 17, he studied at the prestigious London Film School in England, where he directed 5 short films that competed in more than 30 international short film festivals. His impressive CV includes other award-winning films, such as “Burning Heads”, which was nominated for 11 awards by the Hellenic Film Academy, including the award for Best Director. George Siougas has also directed well-known TV series for Greek television (“Vera sto dexi”, “Ta mystika tis Edem”, etc.) and for English television (“Casualty” etc.). He lives with his family in Manchester where he has been working since 2015.

He gave an interesting interview to Eliana Nunes for “Voice of Greece” that aired on the show “Faraway Words” on Wednesday, February 14th, 2024.

He talks about his film “The one note man” and everything he loves about cinema.
