Today’s show started with the issues of current political affairs and the relevant report by ERT’s political editor, Notis Ananiadis. The central issue of discussion was last night’s TV interview of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on ANT1 and the case of wiretapping.
Subsequently, the Director of the Pulmonary Clinic of “Evangelismos” General Hospital, Giorgos Boulbasakos, informed us about the latest developments in the COVID-19 pandemic, expressing the belief that its end is in sight, yet stressing the necessity of preventive measures for senior citizens aged 60 and over as well as high-risk groups while recommending both COVID-19 and influenza vaccination for these groups.
This was followed by a discussion on the latest political developments with the Member of Parliament of SYRIZA in the Constituency of Trikala, Sakis Papadopoulos.
Afterwards, on the occasion of the event entitled: “The EU Hydrogen Strategy, the role of Greece as an energy hub and Greece’s Hydrogen Strategy”, which took place yesterday at Zappeion Megaron, we spoke with the co-founder and manager of the Cluster of Bioeconomy and Environment of Western Macedonia (CLuBE), Nikos Ntavos.
In the second part of the show, the mayor of Kalamata, Thanasis Vasilopoulos, informed us about the contacts he entered into in Melbourne and Adelaide in the context of his official visit in Australia between October 20-25, where he was invited by Organizations of the Greek Diaspora on the occasion of naming a street as “Kalamata Place”. Mr. Vasilopoulos also stated that an Office of the Greek Diaspora will be established in the Municipality of Kalamata, in order for it to coordinate actions, maintain and develop the links created by the Municipal Authority and offer appropriate information and guidance to expatriates who want to invest in the city.
