Immediately afterwards, Theodoros Karaoglou, MP for Thessaloniki B’ Region , commented on the current political news, particularly on wiretapping, energy, and high prices.
Then, labor law professor and president of the Union for the Defense of Labor and the Social State (ENYPEKK), Mr. Alexis Mitropoulos, talked about the completion of the clearance of pending basic pensions, which was announced last Friday by the Greek Prime Minister, stressing that the government is rightly happy about the faster clearance of pending basic pensions, but the process of clearance of other pension benefits, such as additional, international and successive pensions, as well as one-off benefits, should be accelerated.
In the show’s second part, we connected with Melbourne and talked to Ms. Ioanna Liakakos, a founding member of the Hellenic Writers’ Association of Australia. Ms. Liakakos spoke to us about the history and the actions of the Association and also about the festive event organized yesterday, Sunday, November 13th, for the thirty-year anniversary of the literary magazine “O LOGOS”. She also talked to us about her writing, as she has written 14 books, and about her life in Australia.
