October is recognized as ADHD Awareness Month, focusing on raising understanding and support for individuals with Attention Deficit and/or Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
In a journey through the history of ADHD, Historical Walks presents a comprehensive overview of one of the most frequently discussed disorders of recent decades, exploring its evolution over time, societal perceptions, and scientific advancements.
Through the personal experiences and scientific insights of Neuropsychologist Dr. Efthymios Angelakis, who himself has ADHD, Historical Walks revisits the earliest references to the disorder, the developments in its diagnosis and treatment, and modern management strategies.
The program focuses on ADHD in both children and adults, addressing the unique challenges and needs of each age group.
