Dimitris Lentzos (1960) is a Greek poet, lyricist and prose writer.
He was born and raised in the village of Milies in Ancient Olympia.
In 1986, at the age of 26, he published his first poetry collection entitled “I Theia Leitourgia tis Ilianis” and to date he has published a significant number of short stories, plays and poetry collections.
In 2003 he appears in the discography industry as a lyricist with the album Methysmeno alogo, to music of Michalis Terzis, in 2007 he collaborates with the composer Christos Leontis in the song cycle Erotas Archangelos, and then many song cycles follow with his lyrics and renowned composers and performers such as Dimitris Mitropanos, Maria Farantouri, George Dalaras, Lavrentis Machairitsas, Miltos Paschalidis, Pitsa Papadopoulou, Pantelis Thalassinos, Vasilis Lekkas, Yiannis Kotsiras and many others.
