The program welcomed the President of the International Society of Friends of Nikos Kazantzakis (ISFNK), Chevalier of the Order of Academic Palms of France, Katerina Zografistou, and the Honorary President, Ambassador of Hellenism, Knight of the National Order of Merit of the French Republic, Giorgos Stassinakis, on the occasion of the inauguration of the Society’s new offices in Heraklion, Crete.
It was announced that the Society’s headquarters are officially relocating from Geneva to Heraklion. The two guests—Ms. Zografistou speaking from Heraklion and Mr. Stassinakis from Geneva—spoke about the accompanying events scheduled around the inauguration, reflected on the Society’s 37-year history of uninterrupted activity, and its branches in 131 countries. They also discussed the philosophy of the universal writer Nikos Kazantzakis and the challenges that lie ahead.
