Eleftheria Plevritou is the captain of the Greek national women’s water polo team. She proudly received and lifted the World Cup trophy on behalf of our country, following Greece’s victory in this year’s tournament held in China.
A true medal collector, Plevritou has amassed 12 medals in European and World competitions with the national team. Additionally, she has secured 7 international titles with Olympiacos.
Currently, she resides and competes in Hungary, representing Ferencváros, with whom she has clinched a championship title.
Eleftheria Plevritou lent her voice to the global Greek community through ERT’s international radio service, Voice of Greece, participating in the program “Athletic Voice” hosted by Grigoris Nanis.
