This is how the European Federation described Maria Stratoudaki on its official website, following her achievement of three gold medals — in snatch, clean and jerk, and total — at the European Championship in Spain, in the 53 kg weight category.
The athlete has won a total of 18 medals in European and World Championships across age-group categories.
She shared the story of how she reached these significant distinctions, joining her own voice with the voice of all Greeks through ERT’s global radio, Voice of Greece, on the program “Athletic Voice” with Grigoris Nanis.
