On Thursday, January 23, 2025, “Voices and Music” with Alexis Kostas welcomed the musical ensemble “Les Lyristes”, featuring Nikos Xanthoulis, Evangelia Kopsalidou and Sofia Karakouta.
The trio took us on a captivating journey to revive the ancient Greek lyre, just days ahead of their concert in Paris at the Centre Wallonie-Bruxelles on January 29, 2025.
With 3,000 years of Greek music history as their guide, Les Lyristes breathe life into the timeless melodies of the lyre and barbiton, blending them with the beauty of the Greek language for an unforgettable musical voyage.
