Despoina spoke about her own adoption story by a Greek-American family in the USA on the show Our Global Voice,with Petros Diplas and Dimitris Kontogiannis.
Despoina, who was adopted at the age of 7 in 1962 with her parents’ consent and against her will, described her feelings and what she experienced during the first two decades of her life.
