The Poet of the Week 18.09 – 24.09.2023 is Athina Vogiatzoglou
Athina Vogiatzoglou was born in Athens, in 1966. She is Professor of Modern Greek Literature at the University of Ioannina and has written books on the poetry of Angelos Sikelianos and Maria Kyrtzaki, as well as a biography of Giorgos Kotzioulas (Poetry and Polemics, Kichli 2015 — Reader’s Essay Award 2016). She has published the poetry collections Erotic Games and Portraits (both by Cedar) and her first novel is currently under publication. Her poems, short stories and reviews are published in the Press and on the Internet.
