On Sunday, November 5th, 2023, archaeologist and writer, Eleni Kallianezou, is invited to the show “Greeks Around the World-Greece in Denmark”, at 10 a.m., Greek time.
She was born in Athens in 1967. She studied Archaeology and History of Art at the University of Athens. At the same time, she studied at the Translation Department of the French Institute. She has translated scientific studies and articles from French, English and Italian.
Until 2005, she worked in Greece as an archaeologist at the Ephorates of Prehistoric and Classical Antiquities of Sparta, Cyclades, Corfu, and at the Archaeological Museum of Piraeus and in 2007 in an excavation in Denmark, in Jutland.
Since 2005, she lives in Denmark where she studied pedagogy. She teaches Greek and Danish and is involved in literary translation. A blogger since 2006, with a longtime activity as a writer, she writes short stories and fairy tales (“The Seahorse in Love”, a children’s novel, Ellinika Grammata publications 2001, Praise for the short story “Praise to Heaven or The Dreams of Friedrich Wilhelm Herschel”, Collective Volume 13 New Authors, Nefeli Publications 2002).
