On Sunday, 22 June, at 10:00 a.m. Athens time, the program “Greeks Around the World – Greece in Argentina” with Dr. Christina Tsardikou welcomes Mr. Konstantinos Vergyris, president of the Mutual Aid Association and the “Agios Dimitrios” Nursing Home, both based in Buenos Aires.
The Mutual Aid Association Agios Dimitrios was founded in 1918 in Buenos Aires, keeping the Greek spirit alive for more than a century.
In 1971, from this vibrant Greek community, the “Agios Dimitrios” Geriatric Residence was born — a place full of warmth and light, created by Greeks for Greeks. A collective effort by the Greeks of Argentina that honors humanity, honors Greece, and honors life itself.
