The honorary Mayor of Solingen, Germany, speaks about expatriate Greeks who are active in local government in European countries and about the differences that exist between German and Greek municipalities.
Ms. Zacharaki, who is a member of UNHCR’s Advisory Committee of Experts and has been volunteering to help refugees on Lesvos since 2015, explains the cause of the refugee crisis and what needs to change in migration policy.
