Captain Stefanos Vogiatzis from Oinousses, who now lives on Chios, speaks on “Fair Winds and Following Seas”. He tells great stories from his life on the ships, in his own seafarer’s way. His most distinctive story is the one with the ship “Foivos”, when they lost their geographical position on their way to Shanghai, because both the compasses and radar were out of order. Another story he recounts is how and when he found out that his wife had had a baby, but he did not know the sex of the child. The conversation is to be continued next week.
