On February 22nd, 2024, we started with Mary Skandali’s reportage, ERT journalist from Syntagma Square and the rally of beekeepers who descended with their vehicles in Athens, heading to the parliament. We then read the headlines and, in the meantime, gave the floor to Mr Sánchez. Panagiotis Rigas, member of the SYRIZA Political Secretariat and former minister, whom we invited to give us answers to key questions that concern the Official Opposition party, which entered a new cycle of introversion, a few 24 hours before the congress starting at Paleo Faliro Indoor Hall. Before closing the first hour, we opened a line with Kea island from where we spoke and met the listeners of the Voice of Greece, the mayor of the island, Irini Velissaropoulou, one of only 22 female mayors elected in the October municipal elections.
During the second hour, the new president of the Special Permanent Committee on Greeks Abroad, New Democracy MP, Mr. Filippos Fortomas, with whom we talked both about his priorities in relation to strengthening the relations of the Greek State with the Greek Diaspora, focusing on the Postal Vote and the issue of preserving the Greek languages among the Greeks of the Diaspora, as well as on issues concerning his Region, the Cyclades.
