Voice of Greece bids farewell to composer and songwriter Dimos Moutsis

Dimos Moutsis, one of the most important Greek composers and songwriters, has passed away. However, his songs will travel in time and will be interpreted by new voices creating new emotions.

Tune in to “Voice of Greece”,ERT’s global radio, and listen again to “Me ena parapono”, “Avrio pali”, “S’ evlepa sta matia”, “Agios Fevrouarios” and all his great hits.

On Wednesday, March 6th, at 18:00 – 19:00 Athens time, Alexis Kostas on “Voices and Music” will take us through a musical journey from 1967 to 1999 with a stop at Odeon of Herodes Atticus and his big concert where Dimitra Galani and Dimitris Mitropanos performed his great hits.

On Thursday, March 7th at 10:00 – 12:00 Athens time, Prokopis Agelopoulos on “Take your time” has as guest Manolis Mitsias, who collaborated with Dimos Moutsis and will choose to broadcast the most important songs of his career.

Also, Hercules Economou on Greek Music Express at 14.00 talks about the life and work of Dimos Moutsis in English.

Also, don’t miss the tribute by Giannis Papoutsakis on Sunday, March 10th, from 17:00 to 19:00. He will travel “basking in Greek Light”, and will shed light on the unknown creative aspects of Dimos Moutsis’ his work.
