On Friday, March 15th, 2024, we talked to ERT’s correspondent in Patras, Athanasia Stamopoulou, about the carnival events of the three-day carnival in the capital of Carnival and the festival. Then, after the newspaper headlines, we presented an excellent theatrical performance that is being performed at the Ekstan Theatre – Multipurpose Space, in conversation with the leading actress, Eleni Papachristopoulou, who plays on stage the heroine of Marguerite Duras’ book, “The English Lover”.
In the second hour, we started with an interview with Professor Emeritus at the Sorbonne (Paris 1), Architect, Urban Designer and Political Scientist specializing in the geopolitics of Europe, the Balkans and the Eastern Mediterranean, dispersion and physical planning, Mr. Giorgos Prevelakis. Mr. Prevelakis spoke about his flight from Greece during the Junta, his career abroad and in Paris where he settled, his experience in urban planning in Athens, during the ministry of Stefanos Manos in the field of land use planning, and also about what is happening today in international politics, especially in Gaza and Ukraine.
The interviews of the show were concluded with the meeting we had with the director and actor, Giorgos Frantzeskakis, who is currently directing and starring in three plays at the ELIART theatre.
