On Wednesday’s show, May 8th, 2024, we started with Current Affairs, reading the headlines of the newspapers. We continued, shortly after 10:30, with Vanessa Archontidou, candidate for the European Parliament with New Democracy, communicator, alpinist, the Greek woman who managed to climb Everest, to the top of the World, carrying the message about Climate Change. Shortly before 11am, the internationalist, expert on Islam and the Middle East, Evangelos Venetis, analyzed the data in relation to the developments in Gaza, Netanyahu’s deadlocks and the West’s inability to stop the absurdity of the war that has cost thousands of civilian lives and endangered peace in the wider region.
In the second hour, we moved on to issues related to Tourism. We hosted in the studio the journalist of the Voice of Greece, Mina Ralli and talked with her about her region of origin, Messinia, its beauties and its archaeological treasures that attract thousands of visitors every year. Immediately afterwards, the President of the Federation of Associations of Travel and Tourist Agencies, Lysandros Tsilidis, informed us about this year’s tourist traffic to and from Greece and how it is affected by developments in the wider region. Shortly before the end, we gave the floor to psychiatrist-psychoanalyst Savvas Savvopoulos, in order to give his advice to the children who are in the final stretch of the Panhellenic exams but also to their parents, in relation to managing their time and psychology for the best possible result.
At the end of the show, Christos Kontos from ERA SPORTS informed us about the latest developments from the sports field.
