On Sunday, September 29, 2024, at 10:00 AM Athens time, the show “Greeks of the World – Greece in the United Kingdom” will host Marianthi Koutri, a young lawyer specializing in resolving international commercial disputes in the insurance and shipping sectors.
An alumna of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the University of Cambridge, where she completed her postgraduate studies, Marianthi Koutri currently works at an international law firm in London. She is presently involved in one of the most significant cases in the English courts, concerning the detention of over 200 aircraft in Russia following sanctions imposed due to the war in Ukraine.
During the show, she will share her professional and academic journey, as well as the legal issues she is engaged with, including the decarbonization of shipping.

Voice of Greece, ERT’s global radio, has included the “Greeks around the world” series in its program since 2022. These are shows curated by Greeks abroad, in the country where they live, introducing us to our fellow Greeks and their local activities.
