“To succeed in life, you must find solutions to various problems, even on your own, and make sacrifices,” emphasized Captain Christos Karavidas from Thessaloniki.
Captain Christos faced numerous challenges and hardships during his time in Africa. Due to his experience with timber cargo, he went to work in central and western African countries, such as Cameroon, Congo, and others.
“Loading timber requires special handling on ships, and I had quite a bit of experience with it. We Greeks are resourceful and take initiative,” Captain Christos Karavidas noted, adding that Greeks are everywhere, achieving great things.
