The linguistics professor and poet Pinelopi Michalakopoulou was a guest today on the show “Take Your Time” with Prokopis Agelopoulos, on the occasion of World Greek Language Day, which is celebrated annually on February 9.
Pinelopi Michalakopoulou was born and raised in Chios. She studied Linguistics at the University of Athens and Fine Arts at the Athens School of Fine Arts. She works at the University of the Aegean and has been teaching the Greek language to both Greek and international students for many years. In October 2024, her poetry collection “Stagnant Wave” was released with great success by TETRA Publications.
