The show “Take Your Time” with Prokopis Agelopoulos hosted Dora Giannitsi, Director of the Center for Greek Culture in Moscow – Ph.D. in History – and actress, to talk about the activities of the Center.
The activities of the C.G.C. include some of Ms. Giannitsi’s articles focusing on the shared pages in the history of the two Orthodox peoples, Greeks and Russians, as well as recent electronic publications [on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the Greek Revolution and the tragic day of remembrance of the Asia Minor Catastrophe]. Also noteworthy is her doctoral thesis titled “The Greek World from the Late 18th to the Early 20th Century, Based on Russian Sources (Concerning the National Consciousness of the Greeks).” Additionally, in the attached action newsletter of the C.G.C., there is a special section on THEATRICAL ACTIVITIES, which she carefully curated with love and dedication, drawing on her expertise as both a historian and actress.
