The episode featured Dr. Gerasimos Tzivras, a specialist in General Surgery, Proctology, Phlebology, and Medical Detoxification. Born in Argostoli, Kefalonia, he studied in Athens and later emigrated to Germany in the 1970s.
He is a board member of the Association of Greek Scientists of North Rhine-Westphalia (GREKA e.V.), the Association of Greek Authors in Germany (GGAD e.V.), and the Council of Christian Churches (ACK). He also serves as the representative in Germany for the Greece–Cyprus Culture Association (SPEK), a delegate of the International Literary Festival Panorama, a member of the international foundation Writers Capital, and part of Germany’s scientific community.
Now retired, Dr. Tzivras continues to volunteer in his field while devoting himself to poetry and music. In the program, he spoke about his personal journey, life in exile, and his relationship with poetry — and several of his poems set to music were also broadcast.
