Sofia Stavrianidou, the driving force behind The Greek Film Festival in Berlin, spoke on the program about “The Greek Film Festival GOES Frankfurt.” Films from the Berlin festival will be screened in Frankfurt on 19 and 20 September. As she explained, this is the fifth consecutive year the event has been held, attracting a growing audience, primarily people of Greek descent.
The program then welcomed Antigone Gyra, director, choreographer and artistic director of Kinitiras. The interview focused on the staged reading “The Woman of Zakynthos and Other Eternal Memories,” which travels to Nicosia on 17 and 18 September as part of the Nicosia International Festival, following a successful run in Athens.
