The show featured Dimitris Karatzias — director, actor, and artistic director of Vault Theatre Plus — who spoke about the play “Karaiskakena: The Legend“. After a successful run in Athens, the production is now touring internationally, with performances scheduled in Istanbul, Ephesus, Albania, and Georgia as part of various international theatre festivals.
It is worth noting that Sofia Kapsourou, who wrote the play and stars as the heroine, has received the International Theatre Award at the 9th International Anatolia Theatre Awards 2024, as well as the International Achievement Award at the 17th International Türkiye Theater Festival 2024. Meanwhile, Dimitris Karatzias was honored with the International Foreign Director of the Year Award at the 10th International Anatolia Theatre Awards 2025.
