At the age of 93, Anna Xanthaki unfolds the thread of her life story. She is a significant figure within the Greek community of Argentina—a woman whose personal journey intersects with the history of Greece and the broader story of Greek migration to the Latin American country.
Her story begins with the Asia Minor Catastrophe of 1922, the horrors of war, and a childhood marked by displacement and uprooting.
Emigration to Argentina marked a new beginning, where resilience and adaptability paved the way for education and personal progress.
