Pavlos Tsiakoumis on the program “Greece in Denmark” | 01 Feb. 2026, 10:00

On Sunday, 01 February, at 10:00 (Athens time), Pavlos Tsiakoumis is the guest on the program “Greeks Around the World – Greece in Denmark”, presented by Elina Stamatatou.

Pavlos Tsiakoumis comes from Volos and has been living in Denmark for the past nine years. After completing his undergraduate studies in the Department of Mathematics at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, he moved abroad for postgraduate studies. He went on to earn a master’s degree in Theoretical Mathematics and Classical Differential Geometry at the University of Copenhagen.

In recent years, he has been working as a Data Analyst, using data to understand complex problems and support evidence-based decision-making. At the same time, he has been actively involved in social and volunteer work with the Hellenic Girl Guides Association, serving both as a leader for children’s and youth groups—offering opportunities for personal development, social contribution, and life in nature—and in positions of responsibility at an international level. As a volunteer leader in the European Region of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts, he represents Guides and Scouts from across Europe in European forums and institutions, such as the European Youth Forum and the European Parliament.

He currently works at Too Good To Go, the world’s largest company dedicated to combating food waste. Through his role, he contributes to data-driven decision-making that strengthens the company’s environmental and social impact, supporting a mission closely linked to environmental protection. His professional path in sustainable development is a natural continuation of his long-standing volunteer engagement in Guiding, where environmental awareness and collective responsibility were not theoretical concepts, but everyday practice.
