On Monday, 09 March 2026, from 22:00 to 23:00 (Athens time), the Voice of Greece program “Our Town” with Themis Rodamitis presents the theme “Sounds of the Sea in Greek Poetry”. The episode will focus on major poets who, in their writings, celebrate the sea in its broadest dimensions and unique qualities. Texts by Kavvadias, Gatsos, Anagnostakis, Livaditis, Melville, Neruda, Papadiamantis and others will be heard, along with beloved Greek songs, creating a rich web of symbols around the poetic dimension of the sea.
