Naya Myserli on “Voices and Music” | 12 Mar. 2026

This episode took us to Bucharest, where we met a young Greek artist who is already carving out a distinctive path in the world of classical music.

The harpist, soprano and composer Naya Myserli, a graduate of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, spoke about her first musical steps in Thessaloniki, her deep connection with the harp—one of the oldest and most poetic musical instruments—and her creative journey that combines performance, composition and lyric singing.

We discussed her studies and international experiences, her collaborations with distinguished orchestras and conductors, as well as the distinctions she has received in international composition competitions. Particular reference was made to her life today at the National University of Music Bucharest, where she continues her postgraduate studies, bringing Greek musical education into an international environment.

Through our conversation, the sensitivity of a young creator emerged—one who sees music not only as an art form but also as a way of communication and connection between people. A presence that shows how the new generation of Greek musicians continues to create, evolve and carry Greek cultural identity beyond national borders.
