“ Voices and Music” welcomes emerging artist Savina to the studio for a live conversation.
The discussion takes us back to her childhood in Kalamata and explores how her Albanian heritage shaped her identity. It also turns to her deeply personal song “Charlotte,” which addresses the trauma of domestic violence.
We explore Savina’s distinctive sound, which brings together alternative pop, Balkan influences, hip-hop and new wave, and discuss her energetic live performances at the Anti-Racist Festival and Athens Music Week. The conversation also covers her collaborations with Pan Pan on “Πυγολαμπίδες,” Ούτεκαν and BLK CLD.
Savina shares her thoughts on women’s creativity and the importance of solidarity among the younger generation, as well as her immediate plans to release a new EP and her first solo album.
