Carleen Walker, Managing Director of NAMEPA (North American Marine Environment Protection Association) and Shipping Insight, joins “Fair Winds and Following Seas” on Voice of Greece.
“We admire and thank HELMEPA for its work over all these years. It showed us the way and inspired organizations around the world to become actively involved in protecting our seas. It is a model for others to follow,” says Ms. Walker.
Speaking about seafarers, she adds: “We thank all seafarers for their invaluable contribution. Without them, there would be no shipping and no global trade. We want them to know they are not alone and that their service is recognized and deeply appreciated.”
