From the heart of New York to the blue waters of the Aegean, Panagiotis Christos Papastefanou represents a vibrant new generation of the Greek Diaspora.
The grandson of the legendary Amalia Papastefanou, known as the “Nightingale of the Dodecanese,” and nephew of acclaimed musician and producer Dimitris Kastaris, he carries on a remarkable family musical legacy.
A true Renaissance man, he graduated summa cum laude from St. John’s University, achieving a perfect score in all his exams. An aspiring New York lawyer, he is, above all, deeply committed to Greek culture.
From performing as a soloist with the 30-member Voices of Victory Gospel Choir and serving as head cantor at the Holy Protection Greek Orthodox Church in Astoria, to volunteering as a traditional dance teacher on Saturdays and taking part in projects under consideration for the Grammy Awards alongside legendary artists, Papastefanou has pursued an impressively diverse path.
