On Saturday, April 5th, from 12:00 to 13:00 (Athens time), the show “Our Town” with Themis Rodamitis presents a special feature on Mandragoras magazine. This unique arts magazine, which also serves as a publishing house with a significant presence in literature, culture, and social initiatives in Athens, is celebrating 33 years in the literary world.
In the studio, the publisher, poet, and driving force behind Mandragoras, Kostas Kremmydas, will reflect on some of the most significant moments in its long journey and discuss the magazine’s remarkable special editions.

The episode will also highlight influential literary figures such as Kostas Kouloufakos, Dimitris Raptopoulos, Yiannis Dallas, Andreas Pagoulatos, Manto Aravantinou, Nikos Karouzos, Nikos Gatsos, and more.
The show aims to bring to life a part of Greece’s literary heritage that remains vibrant to this day. Special attention will be given to Mandragoras‘ landmark tribute to Greek folk songs. Visual artists Sotiris Sorogas and Apostolos Yagiannos will also share their thoughts on the magazine’s legacy.
