A lifelong journey in traditional Greek folk music: Savvas Siatras on Voice of Greece | 02 Nov. 2024, 15:00

On Monday, December 2nd, tune in to the show The Elves of Tradition” at 3 p.m. on Voice of Greece: Savvas Siatras, known as “the nightingale of Epirus,” will be live in the studio, speaking with Maria Koutsimpiri about his lifelong journey in traditional Greek folk music.

Professor of Theology at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Mr. Michail Tritos, will join the program to talk about Savvas Siatras and his time at the Rizareios Ecclesiastical School. He will also offer a historical perspective on the liberation of Metsovo on October 31, 1912.
