The doctor, historian, painter and author Akilas Milas talks about his childhood in Constantinople, at the crossroads of Peraia. The show focuses on this unique personality who has been an athlete, a champion in athletics, a mountaineer, a doctor for Fenerbahce and Turkish athletes.
A scholar of medieval Hellenism, he has created an important archive, published numerous articles and written several specialized books.
Akilas Millas recalls the many multi-ethnic neighborhoods he lived in Constantinople and Prigiponnisa. He talks about his great love, painting, as he has used his pen to capture a long route with historical buildings in Peran, in his rare collections (stuffed animals, insects, shells, manuscripts, etc.).
