VOICE OF GREECE, ERT’s radio station for Greeks around the world, continues its mission to promote and support the Greek language and culture with the program “Poet of the Week” and “Poetess of the Week”.
Each week is dedicated to a contemporary Greek poet or poetess, including poets from the diaspora. The poets themselves curate the radio readings of their works, accompanied by music from beloved composers. Seven poems are featured each week—one for each day—broadcasting across the globe wherever Greek voices can be heard.
From November 18 to 24, 2024, the spotlight is on poetess Antonia Botonaki.
