Demosthenes Davvetas is this week’s “Remarkable Personality” on Voice of Greece | 16 Nov. 2024, 16:00

The well-known poet, writer, painter, and visual artist, who lives and works between Paris and Athens, will be a live guest on the show “Remarkable Personalities”, where he will unravel the story of his life and career.

As a professor of the philosophy of art at IESA in Paris, Dimosthenis Davvetas discusses the differences between poetry, novels, and essays, his love for painting, teaching, and the intersection of art and philosophy in the era of globalization.

In connection with his latest book “Joseph Beuys: A Contemporary Humanist” published by Nikas Editions, Davvetas introduces us to Joseph Beuys, one of Germany’s most popular and controversial artists, sharing his personal perspective on the artist.
