Director Stratos Tzitzis “Has Something to Say”… | 09 Apr. 2025, 12:00

On Wednesday, April 9th, from 12:00 to 13:00 (Athens time), filmmaker and writer Stratos Tzitzis will be a guest on Voice of Greece, featured on the program “Faraway Words.” He’ll join host Natasa Vissarionos to discuss his latest film The Philosopher (I Have Something to Say), currently screening in Greek cinemas.

The film is a self-deprecating comedy centered on a director who aspires to publish a book on philosophy—a reflective character who, despite mishaps and absurd situations, remains committed to thinking deeply about life.

It’s worth noting that on Friday, April 11th, Tzitzis will present his new book “I Have Something to Say… Notes Toward a Theory of Completion” at a major bookstore in central Athens.

The director will also talk about his decision to settle permanently in Berlin two decades ago, his life in Germany, and his views on the current state of Greek cinema.
