Historical Walks: Greece between East and West | 01 June 2024, 13:00

On Saturday, June 1st, 2024, one week before the European elections and on the occasion of the intense discussions that took place about the song “Zari” by Marina Satti who represented Greece in Eurovision 2024, ‘‘Historical Walks” will take us on a journey through time; The historian Harris Athanasiadis will talk to us about how the Greeks perceive their national identity mainly in relation to Europe from the 19th century to the present day, in an attempt to understand how the collective political and cultural identities of the youth are formed in the long run…and what all this has to do with Marina Satti.
