Infinitely Curious: Green energy for a better world

Green energy as a term sounds sexy and promising . In a nutshell, Clean energy is energy gained from sources that do not release air pollutants, while green energy is energy derived from natural sources. There is a subtle difference between these two energy types even though they are often spoken of as being the same.

Renewable energy is power generated from sources that are constantly being replenished. These renewable energy resources won’t run out, unlike fossil fuels and gas, and include wind and solar energy. The perfect clean energy mix occurs where green energy meets renewable energy, such as with solar energy and wind energy.

Listen to this episode of Infinitely Curious to find out how clean, green and renewable energy can change our lives. Hear from resident of Agrafa mountains Apostolis Brakatsoulas about why he thinks wind farms pose a threat to the environment of Mt Pindos.

Learn from the versatile Yiannis Tzortzis, lawyer, activist, board member at the Lilian Voudouri Foundation and president of the Green Project how his imminent journey into the cacao route in Western Africa can change the way we think about green energy and why it is important to travel and adopt good practices and ideas for a better ecological world.
