Logos, intertwined with the Harmony of the universe, inspired by the ancient seven-string lyre, takes the spotlight once more—or perhaps it never left?
This Thursday, January 23, 2025, at 6:00 PM (Athens time), “Voices and Music” with Alexis Kostas welcomes the musical ensemble “Les Lyristes”, featuring Nikos Xanthoulis, Evangelia Kopsalidou and Sofia Karakouta.
The trio will take us on a captivating journey to revive the ancient Greek lyre, just days ahead of their concert in Paris at the Centre Wallonie-Bruxelles on January 29, 2025.
With 3,000 years of Greek music history as their guide, they’ll breathe life into the timeless melodies of the lyre and barbiton, blending them with the beauty of the Greek language for an unforgettable musical voyage.
