Poet Giorgos Ch. Theocharis is a guest on “Our Town” | 09 Sept. 2024, 19:00

The dynamic poet will discuss poetry, his unique and thought-provoking essays, and his literary criticism work.

He will make a special mention of the literary magazine he edits, Emvolimon, which is published in his hometown, Aspra Spitia, Boeotia.

During the program, he will talk about his various activities, both on social media—where he supports young creators—and at events he organizes, providing a platform for those who need it.

He will also touch on the collective volume of historical testimonies, Distomo, June 10, 1944: The Holocaust, which he edited and which was awarded the State Prize for Chronicle-Testimony.

Giorgos Ch. Theocharis will read a selection of his poems during the broadcast.
