Poet of the Week 25.09 – 01.10.2023: Eirini Margariti

Each weekly episode is a tribute to a contemporary poet from Greece or the Greek Diaspora.
The poets recite their poems themselves, along with an original live music background.


The Poet of the Week 15.09 – 01.10.2023 is Eirini Margariti.

Eirini Margariti was born in 1979 and lives in Athens. She studied theater and works as an actor, director and screenwriter. She has published the poetry collections Flamingo (Melani Editions, Athens, 2014) for which she has been awarded the “Yiannis Varveris” Poet Prize of the Writers’ Society, the poetry collection Fluid (Saixpirikon Publications, Thessaloniki, 2019), nominated for the poetry prize of the literary magazine “Anagnostis” and the short story collection, Selected Items, (Melani Editions, Athens, 2017).
