On Sunday, June 2, from 12:00-14:00 Athens time, the show “Our Town” will host Thodoris Kotonias.
The songwriter and musician will talk about his rich musical journey, his collaborations with leading Greek performers, composers, and lyricists, Greek folk song and its most important representatives, the rock sounds that inspired him, and about ‘mandinades’, which are for him a kind of poetry that has taught him a lot.
Kotonias, in a conversation with Themis Rodamitis, will tell us about the values that accompanied him on this journey: friendship, companionship and humor, which are at the same time his source of inspiration. He will also refer to the popular neighborhoods of Piraeus and the magic they still hide.
We will listen to some of the beautiful songs that have made Kotonias an important creator in the Greek music scene.
The show will feature guest stars from the music industry including Vassilis Dramoudanis, Dimitris Zervoudakis, Violeta Ikari and Miltos Paschalidis.
