On the occasion of the sad anniversary of the 60 years since the “deportations” of the Greeks of Constantinople and the 100 years of AEK, Thomas Sideris presents a radio docu-fiction.
The listeners will be transported to the Kadıköy district of Istanbul and will watch the teenage loves of Marika and Panagiotakis, will stroll through the streets of Uskudar, drink sekerli under the tower of Galatas, eat duntourmali in Eminonu, in the patisserie opposite the café of Anestos frequented by porters of the railway station, along with Thomas Demir, butcher to Aristides from Kuzguntzouki, secretly in love with Marika.
A carousel of human relations, a melting pot of sensations and emotions from the City of the 1930s, with thirty songs by Marika the Stanbuliot and excerpts from “Loxandra” by Maria Iordanidou.
