Vice Admiral Ioannis Pavlopoulos on “Saturday Shift | 25 May 2024, 08:00

Ioannis Pavlopoulos, Vice-Admiral P.N, Honorary Fleet Commander and Military Representative of Greece to the EU and NATO, will be hosted by Antonis Karagiannakis on Saturday special edition of the show “Fair Winds and Following Seas” on Saturday, May 25 2024, at 08:00 in the morning Athens time (and again at 8 in the evening).

Mr. Pavlopoulos chose a path that led him from 1979 to 2023, i.e. 44 years, to serve his country through the Navy. Despite the difficulties and disappointments (all of them momentary), he expresses enormous moral satisfaction, because he did his duty to his country.

In the show, he will talk with Antonis Karagiannakis about the sea and his experiences with the people he worked with in various parts of the world. He will also talk about his military career, his diplomatic career, as well as his current business activities in the field of shipping.
