On Thursday, 26 February, at 12:00 (Athens time), the program “Imprint” with Fuli Zavitshanou welcomes to the Voice of Greece studio author and translator Michalis Makropoulos, who will speak about the newly published, extensive biography of C. P. Cavafy titled “Constantine Cavafy: The Man and the Poet.” The book was recently released by Metaichmio Publications in his translation.
This publication offers a new and substantial understanding of the poet’s life and work, the result of many years of research by two distinguished Greek-American scholars, Gregory Jusdanis and Peter Jeffreys.
