Effie Rentzou on “Imprint” | 29 May 2025, 12:00

On Thursday, 29 May 2025, at 12:00 PM (Athens time), the program “Imprint” with Fuli Zavitsanou welcomes Effie Rentzou, Professor of French and Italian at Princeton University. Professor Rentzou is renowned for her distinguished teaching and research on the artistic avant-gardes of the 20th century, with a particular emphasis on Surrealism.

In light of her participation in major exhibitions and conferences on historical avant-gardes in both Greece and France, Professor Rentzou will discuss the Surrealist movement—its origins, evolution across time and geography, and the profound impact it has had on our understanding of art and society.
