Honouring Manos Hadjidakis at the Sorbonne: Dora Psychoyou on “Imprint” | 13 Nov. 2025, 12:00

On Thursday, 13 November (12:00 Athens time) the programme “Imprint” with Fuli Zavitsanou, welcomes Theodora Psychoyou, Associate Professor in the Department of Musicology at Sorbonne University and Director of the Institute for Research in Musicology (IReMus).

The occasion is the forthcoming international conference held at the Sorbonne on 21 and 22 November: “Manos Hadjidakis: Music, Culture, Politics”, organised by Sorbonne University together with the Concepts et Langages Graduate School, IReMus and the research unit EDITTA, with Psychoyou co-organising alongside Dimitris Papanikolaou. revuemusicaleoicrm.org+1

She will discuss this two-day tribute, its interdisciplinary and holistic approach to the life and work of the great Greek composer Manos Hadjidakis, as well as her wide-ranging activities in Paris.
